What is Trans Wise Trans Strong about?

Trans Wise Trans Strong aims to raise awareness of what it means to be trans, non-binary and intersex, by providing factual information, and challenging the misinformation about these communities.

Also, it is not limited to the trans, non-binary and intersex communities, but encompasses the wider LGBTQIA+ community.

Who hosts the podcast?

The podcast is a solo effort by me, therefore if an error creeps into an episode it may not be picked up straightaway, for example in "What Are Words Worth", I moved the 1885 Criminal Law Amendment Act to 1985, I know the eighties were a scary time, the cold war, AIDS, but being gay wasn't criminalised then.

Although given the ignorant homophobia that surrounded AIDS, I suspect there were those that would have advocated for this.

What topics are covered?

I explore a wide range of topics, including; gender identity, sexual orientation, social injustice, and the ongoing scapegoating of trans, non-binary and intersex people.
